Roloff Farms

While we were in Oregon we went to Rolloff Farms from little people big world on TLC. Mitchs family suprised us and we got to meet two of the boys from the show, the dad and the grandparents. We went on a tour of the farm and also got filmed. We had to sign papers saying that they could use the footage. I dont know if it will show on tv or not but ya never know! They had a petting zoo at the farm that I was super excited about because I am a dork like that.

I really want an alpaca! They are similar to a lama but with super thick hair. This one was really nice and kept nibling at me because he thought I had food.
Haha they are so funny lookin!

Mini cow! I am obsessed with mini horses and so I was stoked to find that there was a such thing as a mini cow! SO SO cute! He is full grown. He is about the size of a large dog. Look at his cute little horns...I want one.

Oregon

We recently went to seaside Oregon. We had never been there before so I was excited to see something new. Its super pretty! So so green. Some places looked like it was out of the twilight movie. It was a short three day trip and really cold! But we had fun seeing all the new sights. We saw a couple light houses and way pretty water falls! It was weird because it is just so different from here. Alot of the houses were painted purple or yellow or turquoise. So weird.....

The ocean is amazing!

Pictures from the top of the light house. My legs were SO sore the next day from walking up all those steep stairs!

Knoxvilles lip injections

So for some reason, Knox always comes in from out side and just randomly sometimes he will have a swollen jowel or lip. Sometimes it is huge! I dont know why this is but I'm assuming that he maybe tries and eats spiders ( which he has been known to do ) and they bite him and then he swells up. It happens all the time! One time his one jowel was so huge on the one side it looked like he had elephantitis of the jowel. It was gigantic and hung down. It was totally a-symetrical. That one I did not get a picture of but these others I did. This happens on a regular bases....we just give him benadryl.

This one isnt quite as bad. His upper lip is really puffy. This is his upper lip injections. Its weird lookin because his bottom lip usually sticks out.

Side view of huge bottom lip.

And this is the big cahuna! Hahaha this one was huge! He was sitting there begging for food and I just couldnt take him seriously. He just looks ridiculous. Lol...oh Knoxy poo. He is good for a laugh!! If you can look at this and not laugh there is something wrong with you.

We were lucky enough this time to see quite a bit of wild life. We saw this Bison just taking its sweet time in the middle of the road, a bear ( not including the ones at the exhibit ) a ton of elk, an eagle, and a chipmunk. haha I think that is everything.

we also went shopping one day when we were there. And I got some great deals! I got these way comfy sweat pants for like 7 bucks. They are cute on me too. And two rings for like 6 bucks. I was excited because it was so cold I needed warmer sweat pants for the night, I can never find rings that are small enough so I was quite pleased. I also got a really cute turtle jewlery box type thing. It is three turtles on top of each other. Every where I go on vacation I have to get a turtle. In alot of the shops they had huckle berry samples. Huckle berry jam, honey, and taffy. Yum!

The comb over is not a good look for me.

Mom, brother, Mitch , me. The hike down here was brutal. The hike back up almost killed me.

Side view. Crazy!

Beautiful waterfall in Yellowstone

While we were in Yellowstone we went to the bear and wolf exhibit. The bears and wolfs are so cute! It was freezing the whole time! I had two hoodies on. But that didnt stop my dad from eating ice cream after every meal...

This is me and mitch on the bear chair....kissing.

They hid food all around the enclosure and sent the bears out to find it. They have four bears but can only let out a certain two at a time whos personalities dont clash, or they will fight. I said, go ahead and let all of them out! I wanna see a bear rumble! What a cute bear.

We also went to see all the geysers. My hair smelled like sulfer after. This geyser unexpectedly went off! It was big....big enough to get us wet and fog up my glasses in an instant. I was a little nervous at first. I was nt sure if that was suppose to be happening. It made for an interesting day. On a side note im pretty sure Mitchs eyes are totally closed.

Jackson and Yellowstone!

This past week we went to Jackson and Yellowstone. The first night we stayed in Jackson, WY. It was soo nice to get away! We were only gone for 4 days but it was enough. While we were down there we just shopped around and got really funny old western pics taken. It was a good time! Everyone there takes there dog with them every where. Even to eat and all the shops. It made me miss my knoxville, I wish I could of brought him.

this picture is kind of hard to see. Notice blakes long jons. Haha we had a good laugh!
We look legit!

Standing under the antler arch

This was our cute little log cabin ( with no privacy ) all five of us slept in here. There was just a curtain blocking off the bathroom. We had to sneek Blake in and give him a blow up matress. We like to live on the edge...

Summa times!

Sorry no pics cuz Iam lame like that this time! Haha so this past week we went to He Is Legend...which is a band that me and Mitch like alot! There pretty bad ass. we brought my brother Blake and Mitchs brother Easton with us too. It was at the Avalon in Salt Lake. It worked out perfect....we got there when the band right before was going on, watched them and then He Is Legend came on right after. So we didnt have to wait around long and Mitch was still in bed at a decent time ( he had to work the next morning ) they did so good and it was way fun! That was my second time seeing them. I didnt even think to bring my camera in though cuz I didnt want to carry it around. But I should of so you all could have seen how funny the lead singer looks haha. The only bummer is they always end with the same song "Iam Hollywood" and they played the intro then stopped and said see ya later. And they were serious! They packed up the stuff and left. How rude! It was dissapointing. Then the next day we went to raging waters with some of Mitchs friends from work. Luckily one of the guys is dating a girl I went to highschool with ( and actually like ) so we got to pal around and I wasnt the only chick. I love water slides! Sorry I have no pics of my cute swimming suite! haha I was an air head though and forgot to put sun screen on my chest and had a really hideous tan line. So thats pretty much our life lately. Oh ya...also we are closing on our house this month! Yay!

Lately

So i havent blogged for a while. I have totally been slacking off! This fourth of July we just went and hung out with my parents and made smores...and a freaking awesome flag cake! I decided fire works just arent that cool when your an adult.

also lately our friends Jeremy and Jacee got married. They started dating around the same time me and Mitch did so we have always hung out and double dated. We were both in there wedding party and got to see the actual ceremony at the Ogden temple. I was glad we could be there. Their reception was like a high school reunion! It was nice to see everyone again.

Can you say contact high?

This past Thursday we went to 311 at Usana. I had never been there before, we drove down with our friends Whitney and Boz. After recieving the most agressive pat down ever at the doors to make sure we had no weapons or anything we went in...this chick pretty much felt me up but whatever. I cant believe it....its freakin June and still cold! Utah weather is so weird! It rained and was freezing! I had three hoodies on at one point and a poncho thing and was still cold. It rained all through Ziggy Marley and on and off the rest of the time. There were ppl walking around with out a shirt...it was crazy. We had lawn tickets and so my hair smelled like smoke by the time we left. Any one who has been knows exactly what I am talking about haha. 311 was really good but I gotta say I was a little dissapointed about the rain and they played alot of there new stuff that I am not way familiar with.

Coming out of the concert we couldnt find Boz's truck so we walked around forever with the car alarm on trying to find it. They are funny people to hang out with. After that we went to Dees cuz we were all hungry bears. It took nine years to get our food there but it was good. I didnt get home till like 2 3o. It was a long night but good times! Apart from the rain.

Dane Cook!

So about a week ago Mitch suprised me with tickets to Dane Cook. I didnt think we were going to be able to go but we did and it was awesome! Our seats werent too bad either. Apparently we couldnt bring cameras inside so we had to walk all the way back to our car to put the camera in there. Its kinda lame but we just took a picture of us in the parking lot. Once again some amazing photography by me and Mitch! I always look goofy when we try and take pics our self. When we got inside the place every one had cameras! I was mad we should of just snuck ours in. But I guess a parking lot picture is better than no picture at all. It was a fun night! So many ppl were there. Im glad we were able to go!

David Copperfield!

Sorry this picture is sideways I dont know how to flip it......

This weekend we went to David Copperfield. I had been once before but didnt really remember it. It was really cool! If you havent been you should go. He does some crazy stuff. It is thouraly entertaining. And on a side note, I look like a ghost and Mitch looks really cute. This picture is hella goofy!

Okay so heres whats been going down.....Im almost emabaressed to show this picture because of how bad it looks, but I just cant believe it!!! So ive posted on here how knox has had some skin issues, well it eventually got worse and one day he got up looking like a monster!! As you can see. I didnt know wether to laugh or cry when I looked at him. So sad! His face was all swollen and his skin irritation was even worse. So I took him to the vet and they gave him a shot which made his facial swelling go away....and gave him some anti- biotics that he has now been on for two weeks, and we gotta do another two. To make a long story short, they narrowed it down to a bacterial skin infection that takes a while to clear up. They have to be on antibiotics for a while. He looks much much better now! As you can see below when he is playing. But oh man its been a nightmare.

Attack dog!

I was cleaning out my trunk the other day and noticed a manequin head I had from a razor cutting class...I didnt know what to do with it but didnt really want to just throw it away. So I gave it to knox! Now it is his favorite toy! He tosses it around, and throws it up in the air....by the end of the night its hair was pretty crazy, his slober would reactivate the hair spray. Oh well, good thing the products are natural right!? What a good way to recycle....

Its kind of creepy to see him toss around this human head in the back yard. Haha

just a thought

By the time that Knoxville is gone, I will have gained so much knowledge about things that I could just skip vetenary school all together and just be a vet for a living.

Dumb dog

Is this not the saddest face you have ever seen in your life!? My heart is breaking as we speak. So I have no idea how but Knox always has some type of injury. One day I came home and he had a gash above his eye. This particular day I let him in from outside and there is a huge bloddy cut on his snout. Its been there forever and every time it heals up he will scratch him self and rip the scab right off! He also has scabs on his head from scratching so hard. What a dummy....I dont even know what to do with him. You would think he was a fighting dog like a pit bull or something....with wounds all over, but the reality is he is sleeping on our bed in this picture. He is very pampered believe it or not.

Easter

This Easter was the same as most holidays, just hangin out with family and running around to a million different locations for food. First we went to my parents house to see what the Easter bunny brought us then to my grandparents house then to Mitchs aunts. It was a pretty busy day and I was stuffed! My parents got me this freakin sweet pirate ship kite!! It was a pain to assemble and as they were putting it together I thought there is no way were gettin this thing off the ground! But we totally did!!!

Doggy play date.

The other day we decided to have a doggy play date. Mitchs friend Ryan brought over his pit bull Medic. Him and Knox have played before and got along really well! Mitchs other buddy brought his two labs. A big daddy lab and a little pup. The big lab and Medic did NOT get along so well and the lab had to sit in the car so they didnt kill each other. It was scary times. Good thing him and knox got along. They loved each other! Medic might of loved knox too much....he would not stop humping him! But it was still good times. They had fun.

Knox and Medic being spaz's together.....

Little puppy moose! He was so cute and a little overwhelmed by the crazy play date. He was freaked out and just kept hiding behind our legs.

Igloo!

Inside the igloo

For one of Mitchs College classes he had to build an igloo up by Snow Basin. He was extremly excited about it and took me up to see it on Sunday. I was excited too...Ive always wanted to go in a real igloo...I always see ppl try and make them in there front yard but they are always small and never finished. Mitchs groups igloo looked the best.

Cute Mitch inside of his igloo. He is so proud.....haha. Its pretty big inside

sick of snow!

We are so sick of the snow. Knoxville needs to burn off some energy! We usually take him to the dog park but it is closed for the winter and doesnt open till April 1st. I told one of my clients about the dog park and she went online to look it up and found these pictures of knox! Haha how weird, he is a star! Some random dude took pictures of him...all the other dogs on the website look normal but not him...he looks crazed!

Girls night

These are my old school ho's! We go way back to elementary! This last Friday me and my two friends Dani ( left ) and Whitney ( right ) went to olive garden for lunch. I hardly ever get to see them anymore so it was good to reconnect. We decided we need to do it way more often! I pretty much canstantly laugh my face off when Im with them. You dont even know....I love these girls!

Holy cow!

Holy cow! My brother blake use to be as tall as my husband...after his surgery to correct his scholiosis hes now a couple inches taller. Crazy! Poor Mitch, out grown by a 14 year old. Haha I still love him! Blake is drugged in this picture.

The big fix!

Last friday ( so almost a week ago ) we got Knoxville fixed finally. A big van comes around to South Ogden residents and does it for cheaper. It was only 50 bucks! Good thing my parents and inlaws are residents cuz im not.

I was so worried about him getting fixed. We had to take him at like 7:45 in the morning and picked him up around 6. They really should of had a better system going because we were all standing outside of this van in the pooring rain/slush waiting for our pets. It sucked, I felt like I was getting my dog fixed on the black market or something. To my suprise he seemed fine and trotted to the car but whined the whole way home. He was so druged up! Like a drunk dog. He attempted to chew on his bone but it kind of just hung there in his jowl and looked like he was smoking a blunt. He was acting like it too. He would be standing up staring off into space and suddenly one eye would start to close, then the other and he would like half fall asleep standing up! Haha it was so funny me and Mitch got a good laugh!

So it said on the paper that they had to wear the cone for 7 to 10 days. Right. I put it on him and it lasted all but 5 minutes. He freaked out and started running into the wall to get away from it and completly ( sorry Im tired and know Im slaughtering spelling ) broke it off! So that was a no go. The first couple of days he acted really good like nothing bothered him. Then suddenly he stopped eating, and was walking really slow with his head down and felt hot like he had a fever. So I thought oh great he probably has an infection or something. I called the big fix, which I dont even know if they have a central location or what but the girl sounded like she didnt know what she was saying and wanted me to take his temp. through his corn hole. No thanks. So I just took him to the vet. 112 dollars later, we discovered that he actually has this weird thing that he has had before where his immune system thinks his jaw muscles are foreign or something and attack it. I think it effects his neck as well. Last time he had this they gave him a steroid and that really helped but he had like ZERO control of his bladder and it was pure hell! I was always cleaning up pee. Even in the middle of the night. This time they couldnt give him that cuz his incision wouldnt heal. Im so so stressed out about it, they pretty much rape you on vet bills, and the pills this time are not helping at all! He keeps yelping and acts like he cant hold up his head. Its the sadest thing I have ever seen! It makes me want to puke its so sad. I am suppose to take him back on monday but I dont know if I can wait that long, or if I go sooner I dont know if there is anything they can do for him. Holy hell how do ppl afford dogs! Mine is probably the most expensive but I love him so much so what else am I suppose to do!? Awww stressful! And my bro got his back surgery today. That is stressful too....I feel bad for the kid. Seems like all is going well. He has his own blog about it....check it out.
